My native settlement is situated in the Podgorenskiy district of the Voronezh Region. The Voronezh Region is the biggest and the most economically developed region in the Central Black area.
Chalk rocks on high banks of the Don in Belogorje are called Russian Switzerland. Here the Podgorenskiy district is situated.
The nature in Podgorenskiy is very beautiful
Podgornoye is an important rail-way station. We can travel by train to the north and to the south of our country.
A lot of people come here to honour and remember in the peaceful times the fallen heroes, to know and understand the past and the future

The Podgorenskiy district is rich in mineral resources which give materials for the Podgorenskiy Cement Plant, famous all over the country.
In the Podgorenskiy district of the Voronezh Region “EUROCEMENT group” began the building of new highly technological cement plant in June 2008.
There are many places of interest in our district. Kostomarovskiy Svyato-Spasskiy female monastery.
