Youth subcultures Youth subcultures in modern Russia are different.Psychologists say that so teens express their individuality.Teens differ their purposes, values, behavior and pastime.

Diggers They are attracted with mystery of subways, dangers of the underground world... This society which doesn't like to advertize the actions and the existence involves the youth. There are a lot of such associations in Russia. They unite in small groups and don't like to accept in the numbers someone else.

Diggers. Who are they? The digger is a person who is engaged in studying of various underground constructions. It can be a bombproof shelter or a fort or even the thrown branch of the underground. This person studies history that is rather useful.

Diggers’ activity It is not only interesting, it is also very useful!

Emo. Who are they? Its representatives are called emo-kid, emo-boy, emo-girl. Emo-kid is the vulnerable and depressive person. Some researchers of subculture say that emo often think about suicide.

Emo’s image Traditional emo’s hairstyle is the slanting, fragmentary bang to the nose tip, closing one eye, back short hair sticking out in all directions. The preference is given to rigid direct black hair. Both young men and girls can paint lips under skin color. Their eyes are densely dyed with a pencil or a mascara. Their nails are covered with a black nail polish.

Emo’s clothes Their favourite colours in clothes are black and pink. There are combinations in a wide strip. The most typical clothes: the narrow, fitting T-shirt, narrow jeans of black or ashy-dark blue color, probably, with holes or patches.

Glamour. What is it? Glamour is one of disputable subcultures. In subculture this current was issued more recently though it was in all that is connected with high and club life.

Glamour clothes The glamour person should look beautifully stylish. Clothes, accessories, footwear are all should be fashionable. The most important purpose of representatives of this direction – to follow ideals on pages of glossy magazines.

Glamour Villas, parties, yachts, fashionable resorts, fashion shows, presentations, the centers of beauty and the health, expensive alcohol, cigarettes and meal are also glamour subjects.

Anime. Who are they? Anime people actually are the ordinary person with ordinary problems and questions in their life. They are the same as the usual person...

Anime. What do they do? The usual person who is fond of an anime watches an anime and starts to draw heroes of an anime, to write continuation of the favourite ended serial or to think out its new plots of old series...

Anime These persons are interested in mythology, traditions of Japan, mystical beings and the phenomena, astronomy, psychology. They often use smilies. They are creative.

Parkour. What is it? Parkour is the discipline representing set of skills of possession by a body which in the fullness of time can find application in various situations of human life. The main parkour’s idea «there are no borders, there are only obstacles».

Parkour. What is it? Parkour isn't a sport which means competitions, and aspiration to win the contender. Parkour’s ideology denies these principles.

Parkour’s activity The person should learn himself, create harmony between a body and spirit, to estimate his possibilities and to start to struggle with the lacks, fears. For development of skills of moving track and field athletics, rock-climbing will help.
