The objectives: • to learn about the origins of Santa Claus and Father Frost, the way they have been changed throughout the history; • to point out and analyze the reasons of Santa’s popularity in Russia; • to make a survey about the attitude of Russian people of different groups towards these characters; • to analyze the information and arrange it in the form of a diagram; • to analyze and compare the results of the survey
The methods of my research:

Conclusion It is wrong to consider that Father Frost and Santa Claus is the same personage. The problem lies deeper If people don’t remember their routes, their traditions, their nation is under the thread of extinction.
