My Hometown Myski the project by Burtovaya D. And Vyatkina inna (Form 8)
The town of Myski is situated on the Mrassu river in the Kemerovo region.It is in the South of Western Siberia.
Myski is a small provincial town with the population of about 45.000 people.It is an industrial town.
The main industry is coalmining. Of course, the mines pollute our environment. And our nature is unique. Some lyrics even call our place “The second Switzerland”.
Myski cannot boast any unusual sights.But it has a beautiful church,
A new square with fountain,
A nice Palace of Culture
And some other places.

Myski is famous for its beautiful nature and clean fresh air.
The Mrassu river
Many people come here to have a rest in sanatorium “Topaz”.
In winter it’s a good place for mountain skiing.
In any season of the year the youth of our town can find favourite occupation. Many children go to music school. Other teens attend dance studio “Avangard” and vocal studio “Joy”. Many young people go in for sports. They take part in different competitions and even became the winners.
Myski is growing and developing.Welcome to our town.
