The main aspects of ideal school The first aspect: physical environment of an ideal school (bright lighting, cleanness, lack of infections, modern equipment for education) The second aspect: ideal system of teacher’s selection (many special universities for future teachers, strict selection criteria and competitive salary). The third aspect: ideal learning process which allows every pupil to get his or her maximum. The forth aspect: fast adaptation of learning program to new conditions of life.
Fast adaptation of learning program Main directions of improvements: Applying modern methods of memorizing information. Applying new methods of motivation. Applying new technologies to improve learning program.
Modern methods of memorizing information Pupils adopt 90% of information if they explain this information to somebody else or use it in practice. We may change the learning process to utilizes this aspect. I believe that science made a huge step in brain exploration and we can use it to improve our memory.
New methods of motivation Many scientific researches proved that salary is a bad motivator. I think that it is the same for marks. We need to find new ways of motivating pupils, for example, class and school through ranking of pupils. Ideal school would make all educational activities valuable for pupils.
New technologies to improve learning program There are many new technologies which are exist but not fully applied at schools, e.g., audio/video chats - ill pupils could attend classes using Skype, we and foreign pupils could teach each other, etc.
