The famous people of the Urals
Valery Yarushin Valery Yarushin is a famous singer and a composer. He is one of the founders vocal ensemble “Ariel”.
Oleg Mityaev Mityaev is a singer, an actor and a composer. He was born in February 1956
Anna Butakova Anna Butakova is a famous artist in Chelyabinsk. She is famous for her landscapes and portraits.
Alexander Danilov Danilov is an artist. He lives in Chelyabinsk. He showed his passion for painting in his childhood.
Anatoly Asherovich Kroll Anatoly was born in Chelyabinsk, on 20 April 1943. He is a composer and a pianist. He composed music for films “We are from jazz”, “Winter evening in Gagri”.
Yermak Timofeyevich He was a Cossack leader, Russian folk hero and explorer of Siberia. His life and death have been subjects for numerous Russian songs, books and paintings since the 16th century.
Dmitry Mamin-Sibiryak(October 25, 1852-November 2, 1912) He was a Russian author most famous for his novels and short stories about life in the Ural Mountains. He was educated in Yekaterinburg and Perm. His most well known works are “Ural Stories”, “Siberian Stories”. His widely- known children’s books are “Tales for Alyonushka”, “Grey Neck”, “Summer Lightning”.
