Polar bear The polar bear became the symbol of the first casualties, losing their habitat due to climate change. Many populations of polar bears will be threatened with extinction over the next century, if the warming trend in the Arctic will continue at current rates.
The Pacific walrus The Pacific walrus. In the Bering and Chukchi seas inhabits the Pacific walrus. In September this year, up to 200 dead walruses were found on the shore of the Chukchi Sea, north-west coast of Alaska.
These animals use the drift-ice to rest, childbirth and nursing babies, as well as for protection from predators. Melting Arctic ice is a threat to Pacific walrus, so in September 2009, the Fish and Wildlife Service, the U.S. announced the addition of a walrus in the Endangered Species Act.
Magelansky penguin Magellanic penguin. Previously, Magellanic penguins threatened populations, primarily oil spills, but now they face a greater threat: as a result of warming ocean currents, the fish moves, causing the birds to swim farther in search of food.
Last year, hundreds of Magellanic penguins issued to the beach in the vicinity of Rio de Janeiro, many were exhausted or dead. 12 of 17 penguin species are currently threatened with rapid declines in population size.
Bluefin tuna Bluefin tuna - a large migratory fish in the western and eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean.
The outbreak has undermined the popularity of sushi literally population of bluefin tuna caught in danger of extinction. Temporary ban on the global trade in bluefin tuna meat would help the population recover

Big Panda Most of the panda is an endangered species with an ever-decreasing size of population and low birthrate, both in the wild and in captivity for the content. Scientists suggest that in the wild there are about 1600 species.
